Spicy Grilled Peaches

Dec 14, 2023 | Sweets and Treats

This dish is a wonderfully simple grilled dessert (or side dish!) made from sweet, juicy peaches, but it’s quite a versatile recipe that could be made just as easily using a variety of fruit. A pinch of chili powder gives these fruity favorites a little spark of fire and accentuates the sweeter spices brilliantly! These are fabulous when eaten warm and topped with some cold, whipped coconut cream.

Serves 4

• 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
• 2 teaspoons raw organic honey, melted
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1⁄8 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
• Primal Whipped Cream, for garnish (optional)
• 3 white peaches, pitted and quartered

1. Preheat the grill to high heat. While the grill is preheating, mix all the ingredients together, except for the peaches.
2. Place the peaches in a bowl and pour the sauce mixture over them, evenly coating all of the peaches. Then place the peaches on the heated grill grates carefully, and make sure they don’t fall through the grate.
3. Grill the peaches for about 5 minutes per side, on all three sides, or until they are nicely charred. Allow to cool prior to serving, and top with some whipped cream!
