Makes 2 cupss

Sometimes we put forth the effort to make a real guacamole, but considering how often it’s requested in our house, we usually use this simple recipe to create a quick dip our kids use for just about everything! It’s nice to make this way because you don’t need fresh, ripe tomatoes on hand.

Try putting this dip on your hamburgers and fried eggs or use it for dipping vegetables like cauliflower, carrots, and sweet peppers.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 avocados, pit and skin removed
  • ¼ C red salsa
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • ¼ tsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS AND HOW KIDS CAN HELP

  1. Mash avocado until most of the chunks are broken up.
  2. Mix in salsa, lime juice, and salt until thoroughly combined.
