One of the easiest game day appetizers is a beautiful sausage platter. Since it's one of the rare instances when we purchase packaged products I've listed some of my favorite brands below. When selecting sausage always be sure to confirm a clean ingredients list. Pair your Sausage Roulette with some fresh cut veggies and Spicy Mustard.

Prosciutto
Brand: Volpi
Ingredients: pork, sea salt

Pancetta (dry cured pork belly)
Brand: La Quercia
Ingredients: pork, sea salt, spices

Smoky Borsellino (salami with caraway)
Brand: La Quercia
Ingredients: pork, water, salt, dextrose, spices, natural flavor, lactic acid starter
Note: Many packaged foods, such as sausage, include dextrose. Dextrose is a form of glucose, typically derived from cornstarch. When following a paleo diet, corn products and derivatives are typically avoided.

Hot Dogs
Brand: Organic Applegate Beef Hot Dogs
Ingredients: organic grass-fed beef, water, less than 2% of sea salt, organic spices, organic dehydrated garlic and onion, organic paprika, celery powder
Note: Be careful to read the package! Applegate makes multiple products that look similar but are quite different. Only one package specifically states made with grass-fed & pasture-raised beef. Gluten and casein free with no fillers, no antibiotics used and humanely raised.

All-Natural Andouille Sausage
Brand: Niman Ranch
Ingredients: pork, water, garlic, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, thyme, celery powder, bay leaves
Note: Specifically labeled gluten-free, no antibiotics, no added hormones, no animal by-products, raised by US Family Farmers committed to sustainable & humane practices. No nitrates or nitrites added except for naturally occurring nitrates in celery powder.

Kielbasa (Polish Sausage)

Ingredients: pork liver, pork, water, salt, onions, spices, sodium nitrite
