Ices 12 cupcakes
This icing is fun and quick to make, and it’s really cool looking the way the sugar and icing swirl together. It’d be great on almost anything, but we recommend trying it with our Apple Pie Cupcakes and ZuCakes !
INGREDIENTS
• 1 C unrefined granulated sugar
• ¼ C palm shortening
• 1 Tbsp almond milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS AND HOW KIDS CAN HELP
1. Use coffee grinder to powder sugar.
2. Combine all ingredients in electric mixer, whip on high until icing is fluffy (add a splash of almond milk or shortening if mixture is too dry or wet).
3. Store chilled for up to several months.
