ELVIS’S NUT BUTTER AND NANA SMOOTHIE

Makes 16 oz of smoothie

When we make this smoothie, one of us will do the full lip curl and explain to the kids that we’re making an “almond butter and ‘nana smoothie.” Grown-ups think this is funny because there used to be a famous singer that said things like that, and nut butter with banana was one of his favorite foods. This smoothie is one of our favorites too, and it’s so easy to make!

INGREDIENTS

• 1½ C unsweetened vanilla almond or hemp milk
• 1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
• 3 Tbsp almond butter
• 1 Tbsp honey (optional, not needed if banana is super ripe)

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
