Peppery Prosciutto Chips

These Paleo crisps are instantaneously mouthwatering due to a knock-your-socks-off combination of salty, savory, spicy, and super crunchy. These chips turn up the heat with a trio of black, cayenne, and red pepper, but they don’t stop there! These are even tasty just plain, so any spices you choose will only enhance their hot and spicy potential.

Serves 2–4

• 1⁄2 teaspoon finely crushed black pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon finely crushed cayenne pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon finely crushed red pepper
• 6 ounces fresh prosciutto, thinly sliced

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine spices in a small bowl.
2. Line 1–2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Place the prosciutto slices in a single layer on the sheet(s). Sprinkle evenly with spices.
3. Place the sheet(s) in the oven on the middle rack, and bake for 10–15 minutes or until crunchy. Remove from heat and transfer the chips to a cooling rack, which allows them to become even crunchier.
