An exciting, flavorful twist on nut butter, this Cinnamon-Ginger-Almond Butter is out of this world! The natural sweetness from the honey and almonds is highlighted nicely by cinnamon and sea salt. In addition, the hot and spicy ginger and cardamom give this dish just the right amount of edge. Exuberantly fulfilling, you’ll never want to see an empty jar!
Yields 11⁄2 cups
• 3 cups raw organic almonds
• 11⁄2 ounces raw organic honey
• 1⁄2 teaspoon sea salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon ginger
• 1 teaspoon cardamom
1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and allow to fully process (about 15–20 minutes).
2. Transfer to a sealed glass jar and consume within 2 weeks, or store it in the fridge for up to 1 month.
