Makes 2-3 cups


3 ripe avocados
1/2 cup sweet onion, chopped
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeño or serrano pepper, seeded and minced
1 lemon, juiced
1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
coarse ground sea salt, to taste
2 plum tomatoes, chopped


Slice each avocado around the outside, twist and pull apart.
Use a knife to remove the pit in each.
Use a spoon to add avocado to a medium bowl.
Mash with the spoon, a fork or a potato masher until half is smooth and half is chunky.
Add onion, garlic, minced pepper, lemon juice, cilantro and sea salt to the bowl.
Mix to combine. | Add tomatoes prior to serving and mix well to combine.
Serve with Dipping Sliders, over scrambled eggs, as a dressing for salad, over shredded pork or beef or simply on it’s own.
