Ingredients
1 medium banana
1 cup (240 ml) brewed coffee, chilled
1 cup (240 ml) almond milk
½ cup (120 grams) almond butter
¼ cup (60 ml) maple syrup
4 cups (455 grams) crushed ice
unsweetened cocoa powder, for garnish (optional)
shaved dark chocolate, for garnish (optional)
Process
Place all the ingredients except the ice in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the crushed ice and blend once more until thick. Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder and shaved dark chocolate and serve immediately.
