½ cup (120 ml) balsamic vinegar
1 large pear, cored and cut into 8 slices
4 slices prosciutto (2 ounces/55 grams), cut in half lengthwise
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the vinegar to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let thicken for 45 minutes.
- Once the balsamic vinegar is reduced by half and is thick, wrap a slice of prosciutto around each slice of pear, then drizzle with the balsamic reduction.
