Ingredients
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
¼ cup (60 ml) maple syrup
9 slices bacon
Process
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the coconut sugar and maple syrup. Lay the bacon flat on the prepared baking sheet. Use a pastry brush to brush the syrup mixture on top of the bacon. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the bacon is golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Allow the bacon to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a serving plate to cool completely.
