Carrot Ginger Smoothie
Smoothies are a great “on-the-go” choice for breakfast. They are easy to prepare, and are even easier to clean up! The ginger and nutmeg make this smoothie a zesty treat that is sure to warm your soul and satisfy your stomach on your morning commute.
Serves 1
1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
1 apple, peeled and chopped
1⁄2″ chunk ginger, grated
Juice of 1 orange
1 teaspoon raw organic honey
1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
1⁄8 teaspoon nutmeg
1⁄2 cup water
1⁄4 cup ice
- Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth and foamy.
- Pour into a large glass and serve immediately.
