Ingredients

  • 0.5 medium Mango, peeled and pitted (approx. 3.5 oz / 100g)
  • 1 whole Kiwi fruit, peeled (approx. 2.5 oz / 70g)
  • 0.5 medium Banana, peeled (approx. 2 oz / 60g)
  • 0.5 cup Pineapple chunks (from a 17.6 oz / 500g tin) (approx. 4.4 oz / 125g)
  • 2 medium Red Apples, cored (approx. 11 oz / 320g)
  • 0.5 bunch Kale, rinsed (approx. 2 oz / 60g)
  • 1 cup Spinach, firmly packed (approx. 1 oz / 30g)
  • 1 medium Carrot, scrubbed or peeled (approx. 2.5 oz / 70g)
  • 0.5 medium Pear, cored (approx. 3 oz / 85g)
  • 0.5 medium Peach, pitted (approx. 2.5 oz / 75g)
  • 0.25 medium Papaya, seeded and peeled (approx. 4 oz / 120g)

Method

  1. Rinse all fresh produce thoroughly under cold running water and pat dry; peel the mango, kiwi, banana, papaya, and carrot, and remove pits or cores from the stone fruits and apples.
  2. Chop all fruits and vegetables into chunks small enough to fit easily into the feed chute of your specific juicer model.
  3. Turn on the juicer and process all ingredients, alternating between the softer fruits (like mango and peach) and the harder ingredients (like carrot and apple) to maximize extraction.
  4. Stir the extracted juice vigorously in a pitcher to combine the flavors and textures evenly.
  5. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve immediately over ice if desired, or enjoy straight from the fridge for a refreshing energy boost.
  7. Chill Ingredients First: To skip the 2-hour waiting time, refrigerate all your fruits and vegetables overnight. This ensures your Healthy Paleo Green Smoothie comes out of the juicer ice-cold and ready to drink immediately.
  8. Don't Waste the Pulp: Since this is a juicer recipe, you will have leftover fiber pulp.
  9. Don't toss it! You can mix the fruit and veggie pulp into muffin batter or use it to bulk up a meatloaf or veggie burger for a zero-waste kitchen hack.
  10. Add a Zesty Kick: If you find the fruit combination too sweet, add a 1-inch knob of fresh ginger or half a peeled lemon into the juicer. It adds a spicy, immune-boosting zip that cuts through the sugar.
  11. Juicing Order Matters: For maximum yield, alternate between leafy greens and watery fruits. Feed the kale and spinach through first, then follow immediately with an apple or pear. The harder, water-rich fruit helps push the leafy greens through the mesh, ensuring you don't waste any precious juice.
